The real magic happens when teams work in a culture where catching and resolving problems is the norm—not an exception. Of course, not every problem can be prevented. However, a built-in quality system catches errors early. And when they’re caught early, they’re easier and cheaper to correct. That’s not just beneficial for the company. It’s less stressful for the team, and it builds trust with customers who know they’re getting the best. People often ask, “Isn’t it expensive to stop the line?” The truth is, failing to address issues now is far more expensive later. Every defect that moves forward becomes harder to detect, harder to remediate, and more damaging in the long run. Resolving a problem now is always cheaper than fixing it later.
